The One Day International (ODI) team for India’s travels to New Zealand and Bangladesh has been released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Following the end of the recent T20 World Cup, all international teams will transfer their emphasis to the ODI format in preparation for the 50-over World Cup, which will be held in India next year. India will do a complete tour in both of these nations.
On Monday, Chetan Sharma and the chairman of the All-India Senior Selection Committee confirmed the teams for the forthcoming New Zealand and Bangladesh tours. The New Zealand trip begins five days after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup. The first match is scheduled on November 18.
“It is not like that,” Chetan Sharma remarked when asked whether it signaled the end of the road for Karthik, 37. We prioritize workload management, and given Dinesh Karthik’s performance, he is always accessible to the selections. We just want to attempt a different collection of players right after the World Cup. Otherwise, the doors are open to everyone.”
