After the ODI series against South Africa, R Ashwin is really impressed with two Indian players. After the third and final ODI, the seasoned player praised Kuldeep Yadav for his performance.
In Test cricket, Ashwin believes Kuldeep is one of the best writers-spinners and has the potential to win games.
Kuldeep had an incredible performance in Delhi, scooping up four wickets after getting one wicket in each of the first two one-day internationals against the Proteas.
“Kuldeep Yadav can bowl repeatedly with probing line and length. That’s a decent spinner quality,” he remarked.
Shardul Thakur received praise from Ashwin for his all-around performance, claiming he can have an impact with both the bat and the ball.
“He is a skilled batsman and ballplayer. At a time when we were having trouble, he took wickets and scored runs. Together with Sanju Samson, he established a significant relationship.
