India and Zimbabwe are playing in the final game of the Super-12 round of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Melbourne. India would have placed first in Group 2 and would have gone on to play England in the semifinals if it had won this game. Indian captain Rohit Sharma choose to bat first after winning the toss in this game. Suryakumar Yadav and KL Rahul’s fifty helped India collect 186 runs off the loss of 5 wickets.

The first two of KL India had a strong start thanks to Rahul and Rohit. However, Rohit was caught out for playing a pull shot and once again failed to play a significant innings. In just 13 balls, he managed to score 15 runs. Rohit and Rahul had a 27-run partnership for the first wicket. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli then seized control of the Indian innings. However, Pant was dissatisfied, as he was caught after 3 runs in 5 balls. India’s score at one point was 1 wicket for 87 runs.
