The first two of KL India had a strong start thanks to Rahul and Rohit. However, Rohit was caught out for playing a pull shot and once again failed to play a significant innings. In just 13 balls, he managed to score 15 runs. Rohit and Rahul had a 27-run partnership for the first wicket. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli then seized control of the Indian innings.
